In the 21 st century, a nation which proclaims to be an ardent supporter of women’s right is
debating whether the women's menstruation is polluting the sanctity of the temple or not. It is a
shame that even today women are experiencing the brunt of discrimination in the guise of
upholding the tradition.

right-wing government. This is nothing but a pure act of subjection and marginalization of women in
