n a frying pan, heat coconut oil on medium-high heat
While you’re waiting for the oil to heat up, in a small bowl combine your dry ingredients: mix your almond flour, Italian seasoning and salt together. Move to the side.
In a separate bowl, beat your egg until it is frothy and well mixed.
Now comes the fun part. One at a time, grab a cheese stick and roll it in the egg mixture until it is well coated. From here, move the cheese stick to the dry ingredients and ensure it is well coated. Place each cheese stick on a baking sheet until they are all finished.
Gently place each coated cheese stick into the hot oil. Be mindful to keep turning each stick every 10-15 seconds to ensure it doesn’t get burnt. Once they have been cooked on each side and they have that crunch, golden glow, remove from the oil and place on a paper towel lined plate, this will remove any unneeded oil from the dish.
Enjoy right away, with or without dip!
