CSE and IT Engineering stream at KIET Group of Institutions involves the application of Science, Technology and Mathematics to innovate, design, develop and maintain machines, structures, software, hardware and systems & processes. These two departments of KIET aim to be the Centre of Excellence in providing international standard education and consultation in the field of computer science and thus targets to produce globally competent and self disciplined computer engineers.
The major Centre of Excellences presents in CSE & IT departments of KIET which provide great opportunities to students are:
1. PARAM SAVAK SUPER COMPUTING FACILITY For AI AND ML Centre of Excellence
The PARAM SAVAK SUPER COMPUTING FACILITY For AI AND ML Centre of Excellence consists of dedicated and hardworking students along with highly skilled faculties of CSE department. It aims to provide practical knowledge and familiarity with how the industry is adopting and utilizing AI and ML.
2. D-Link Global Centre of Excellence
The D-Link Global Centre of Excellence was established in May, 2016 under an MOU with D-Link India Pvt. Ltd. This centre is equipped with 25 i5 computers, latest Switching and Wireless equipment. The main objective of the centre is to make our students industry ready for IT infrastructure jobs.
3. IOS Learning Centre of Excellence
The iOS learning centre has been established under an MOU with Apple iOS University Programme in Jan 2015. It is equipped with 25 Mac machines, 2 iPads , 1 Laptop MAC book and LCD Projector.The main objective of the centre is to make our students industry ready for the MAC Platform and for iOS development.
