The Internet of Things (IoT) Framework describes the fundamental framework of an IoT solution or product.

The IoT framework is made up of four essential components:-

Device Hardware — Requires an understanding of the architecture and operation of various microcontrollers and sensors.
Device Software – This entails building programs to configure and control your controller. It’s also necessary to understand how APIs work inside microcontrollers and how to create programming libraries.

Communication and Cloud Platform — Basic wired and wireless communication skills are required. Cloud is an integral aspect of IoT and necessitates an understanding of how Cloud technology works and how it integrates with IoT.

Cloud Application — A cloud application is a software program that combines cloud-based and local components for faster and easier access. Its goal is to improve our capacity to use the system to its full potential.

IoT platform is a cloud software/platform that connects to sensors, gateways, end-user apps, or any other physical device with network access, and is an important part of the IoT framework.

An IoT platform provides a set of ready-to-use capabilities for developers that substantially accelerate the creation of apps for connected devices while also ensuring cross-device interoperability.
