I lost a lot of weight the summer after I turned 30 (8 summers ago), and since then I have been shedding uncontrollably, my hair has thinned so much that it’s very depressing. A few winters ago I started noticing bare spots in the mirror after I stepped out of the shower, and some areas just had no new growth. My teenage son towers slightly above me and even comments on bare spots on his mother’s scalp (extremely depressing!).
I have tried a variety of things to try to stop the fallout and to regrow the hair. Taking supplements for years (which seemed promising at first but that result did not last long still I bought more and more and continued adding to them). DHT Blockers, Apple cider vinegar washes, all the oils, scalp massages, inversion, changing my diet… Exercising, upping my protein intake, egg and honey hair masks, damage-erasing balms, shower oil treatments, and even rubbing and squeezing onion juice on my scalp!
