The CBSE OPEN Class 10th syllabus is being provided for five subjects- English, Maths, Social Science, Hindi, and Science.
Mandatory Subjects of CBSE Private Candidate for class 10th are :
. Mathematics (Student has the option of selecting Standard or Basic Mathematics at AISSE (X Board examination) Syllabus shall remains the same.
. Science
. Social Science
Optional Subjects of CBSE Private Candidate for class 10th are :
. Skill subject* from the group of Skill subjects
In CBSE Private Candidate it is mandatory to opt 5 subjects in class 10th out of which 2 should be languages like Hindi, English and 3 should be main subjects like Social Science, Science, Maths, Home Science. In class 12TH, it is mandatory to opt for Five subjects however one additional subject can opt as the 6th subject
